Interest Free Credit Cards - Introductory Deals

Introductory offers for credit cards are becoming increasingly popular. Whether you’ve already got a credit card or you’re looking for your first one, companies everywhere are offering interest free credit cards for balance transfers, purchases or for both in order to attract you.

Most interest free credit card deals offer the following:

0% on purchases until a fixed date for all customers or until a certain period after the sign-up date (usually 3, 6, or 9 months).

and  / or

0% APR on balance transfers until a fixed date for all customers or until a certain period after the sign-up date (usually 3, 6, or 9 months).

Switching when the intro period ends

When the introductory rate ends the interest on the card reverts to the standard APR which can be 15% APR and above. Some people avoid paying the higher rates and take full advantage of the interest free offers by transferring any balance to another card once the intro period has expired.
